"It's not often you run into someone who consistently exhibits a high level of leadership in all aspects of life. I cannot think of another person who understands how to both run and lead a team - and there is a huge difference between the two: Running a team - any type of team - while not easy, takes a large amount of operational skill and the ability to execute to get to a specific goal. Leading a team is different and this is where Tom has a special skill that is hard to find. Tom has the ability to motivate and encourage all on his team, regardless of skill set and experience, to want to be the best and work to make the team the best. I have seen him be a mentor, teacher, and a motivator, which are all things that are not learned. That is who he is.
